Watercolor by Jim Siemer
This print of his original watercolor titled: My Deer Columbus, was painted in 2019. This watercolor depicts the iconic deer which is located on the Rich Street Bridge. Many Columbus visitors are surprised to see a deer sculpture on the Rich street bridge over the Scioto River. The reason for the deer on the bridge is that the area was once a major deer crossing for the native Americans and the word "Scioto" meant deer.
