Live from VGH, Edition 3

Welcome back! We hope you’re enjoying VGH. Leave us some feedback on FB or Insta. Two things we strive for related to our cards. 1) The insides are blank so that your handwritten note takes center stage. 2) They’re designed and printed by small, often indie artists. Mama’s Day is May 10th and you’ve seen the posts that your kids will not be bringing home DIY crafty treasures from school so we’ve got you covered. We’re featuring a great assortment of letterpress beauties made in Seattle, WA by Ilee Papergoods; wildflower seed paper which Mom can plant in her garden by Seedlings in Clinton, MA and letterpress veggie cards handmade by Alice-Louse Press in Perrysburg, OH. Lynsey Penny, our graphic design genius has refreshed and redesigned our website We are in LOVE with the minimalist aesthetic which allows our products to take center stage. Our website will never replace the experience of being in our shop with its creaky floors and chippy paint, where you can smell and touch and try but not everyone can visit all the time so being online allows us to share with our friends and family near and far. Take a tour! Next up, at 3pm, our spring garden/celebrate Mom collection.

Wedding Invitations Decoded

If you know how to read between the lines, a properly worded wedding invitation conveys much more than the who, what, and where. We’d like to let you in on the why of invitation etiquette so you’re always in the know. Let's take it from the top! If parents use titles, chances are you're in for a formal event More and more, families are coming together to host weddings. If you notice two sets of parents at the top or inclusive language like Together with their families, it’s safe to assume that teamwork makes...

On Paper's Gift Guide: 12 Days of Holiday Giving, Day 11

On the eleventh day of Christmas, things were picture perfect Earlier in this series we mentioned appreciating gifts that inspire us to live at a slower, more reflective pace. Though we love snapping pics on our phones and jazzing them up on Instagram (we're @onpaperohio) as much as the next person, we welcome the opportunity to sit down on the couch, tea steaming away on the table, and flip through a photo album. A tome for your home--a beveled-edge leather photo album If that album happens to be Italian made, hand bound and archival, all the better. For newly married couples, families expecting little ones, or globetrotting friends, a photo album that will preserve and display their memories is useful...
