How is On Paper going to evolve?

Thank you, Columbus Underground for advocating for small business! On Paper was recently featured in a well written article and I am so appreciative of their efforts. If you've made a purchase from us in the last six months, thank you a million times over. You have helped our shop survive through the end of 2020. There have been some questions on social media and other platforms for more detail on our plans so I wanted to share what I know as of today. After 23 years and the Christmas holiday, we will vacate our space at 737 N. High Street as soon as we can get it packed up. We're doing this because a) it's too big (it may...

The future for the On Paper custom design & print studio

We wanted to follow up on the somewhat somber blog post from Nov 5th. We received an outpouring of love and support and it warms our hearts.  We are so grateful for our customers and custom clients and your orders!    We want to clarify that 2020 may be the last year for our brick and mortar shop on S High Street. A message from your friends at On Paper

First and foremost, thank you to our loyal customers and custom clients who have continued to support us during these dark days. This is so hard to write but sharing it is critical. It’s been a crushing year for On Paper and so many other small independent businesses. Too many of our neighbors have closed their doors. Too many windows have for lease signs. Main Streets across the USA are losing their vibrant and unique small businesses. The recovery has been too slow. Yes, we got the...

From the archives

It's a beautiful sunny fall Saturday and I'm off for the first time since maybe taking over this business in January. It's kind of hard to stay away from the shop but I have my ace sales women on the job so I'm doing the next best thing. I started adding some holiday merch to our website and found myself deep in our blog pages. There are more than 80 of them dating back to 2009 when Joan started them. It's a tragedy for some of these to be buried deep in cyberspace. It's like going through your grandmother's hope chest (this is not to say Joan is like a grandmother, not at all). It'll take me days to go...

Live from VGH, Edition 4

Cheers! It's 5 o'clock, it's Saturday, it's 75 degrees and sunny! You probably don't have to work tomorrow. There are some things to be happy about. Feast your eyes on these nourishing beauty treatments filled with botanic plant infusions like carrot oil and beet root extract (yes, it’s a thing and it’s great for the skin!) We have carrot & neroli, cucumber & honey and sugar beet & blossom french handcreme, salt scrub and soap. Guys, these are made with fresh, wholesome 98% natural ingredients. It's really a shame you can't eat them...actually, you probably can but they won't taste very good. Go on and indulge yourself!  Come back at 6 to see our bright handcrafted vases, made out what?...
